I will admit I am a list maker – BIG TIME! This is a huge boost to productivity and it can also be an avenue for sin.
I am prone to self sufficiency and when I make my lists and follow them maniacally – I am relying on only me.
I am also a driven individual when I want to see things done. Getting things done isn’t bad unless I have lost my heart in the process.
I have my own important stuff list – it is my list that gets done every day! Quiet time with the Lord, drinking enough water, puppy play time, and basic hygiene …. That is it. Everything else is up for negotiation.
I do still make my daily list only after my time with God is done and I typically have no more than 3-5 things daily on it … leave room for change, flexibility and fun.
